Instructions

Assembly

  1. In a clear serving dish (like a glass pie plate or trifle bowl), spread the 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans evenly across the bottom to create the first layer.
  2. Carefully spread the 2 mashed avocados over the beans for the second layer.
  3. Add the third layer by spreading the 1 pint (16 oz) sour cream evenly over the avocados.
  4. Gently pour and spread the 1 (16 oz) jar salsa over the sour cream for the fourth layer.
  5. Sprinkle the 3-4 chopped green onions evenly over the salsa.
  6. Add a generous layer of approx. 2 cups grated cheddar cheese.
  7. Finish by topping with the 1 (2.25 oz) can chopped olives.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the dip to set and chill.
