Instructions
Step 1: Initial Blend
- Into a container put 1 lg. avocado, 1 1/2 c. chicken broth, 1 clove garlic, and 1/8 tsp. hot pepper flakes or Tabasco.
- Cover and blend at high speed for 15 seconds.
Step 2: Final Blend and Serve
- Add 1/2 c. cracked ice and 1/2 c. cream or milk.
- Cover and blend 10 seconds longer until smooth.
- If too thick, thin with more chicken broth or cream.
- Serve cold, sprinkled with chopped chives, dill, or parsley.
💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Best served immediately while cold and vibrant green, but can be kept in the refrigerator for a brief period before re-blending.
