Instructions
Step 1: Cooking the Base
- Make up a pack of onion soup with 1 3/4 to 2 c. water.
Step 2: Combining Ingredients
- When this is ready, add 2 Tbls. butter, 1 small can mushrooms, and 1 3/4 c. minute rice.
- Cover, turn off heat, and let minute rice cook.
Step 3: Resting and Serving
- Stir now and then.
- Taste to see if it needs more salt or pepper.
- Let set about 20 minutes, turn heat on again to serve hot.
💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Can be prepared up to the resting stage and reheated gently on the stove before serving.
