Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Sauté

  1. Sauté the ½ white onion and 1 lb cooked spinach in a skillet until tender and fragrant.

Step 2: Mix Seasonings

  1. Mix the 1 cup white sauce with the ⅓ tsp sage, ¼ tsp oregano, 1 tsp salt, and 1 tsp pepper until well combined.

Step 3: Assemble and Bake

  1. Put the sautéed 1 lb spinach and ½ white onion in a large baking dish.
  2. Pour the seasoned 1 cup white sauce evenly on top of the spinach mixture.
  3. Place the ½ lb mozzarella cheese slices over the top.
