Instructions

Step 1: Dressing

  1. Mash 1/2 avocado in a bowl, add 1 t. lemon juice, 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/3 cup salad oil, 1 clove garlic, 1/2 t. sugar, 1/2 t. chili powder, dash tabasco, and salt to taste; beat well until smooth and creamy.

Step 2: Salad Assembly

  1. Combine 2 small pkgs. Fritos, 1/2 head lettuce, 1 sm. can black olives, 2 drained cans tuna, 2 sm. tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped green onions, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese in a large bowl and toss well.
  2. Pour the prepared dressing over the salad just before serving and toss until thoroughly coated and crisp.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Keep the dressing stored in an airtight container and the salad ingredients separate until ready to serve to prevent the Fritos from getting soggy.
