Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Salad

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine the 1 bunch romaine lettuce, 1 bunch bibb or boston lettuce, 1 pint strawberries, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, and 1 cup monterey cheese.

Step 2: Mix the Dressing

  1. In a separate bowl or jar, whisk together the 1 cup oil, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup red wine vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon white pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon paprika until well combined.

Step 3: Toss and Serve

  1. Toss the salad mixture with just enough dressing to moisten until evenly coated, and serve immediately while crisp and vibrant.
