Ingredients

Instructions
Step 1: Slow Cooking
- In a crock pot, combine the 1 1/2 lbs cubed lean beef, 1 can tomatoes, 1/2 cup beef consommé, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 clove crushed garlic, 1/4 tsp ground cloves, 1 pint bag of frozen green chiles, and 1/3 cup parsley.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours (or on high for 4 hours) until the beef is fork-tender and the flavors are fully melded.
Step 2: Serving
- Serve hot over warm rice, tortillas, or macaroni.
💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Can be assembled in the slow cooker insert the night before, covered, and stored in the refrigerator. Leftovers freeze beautifully for up to 3 months.
