Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Season

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Trim off as much fat as possible from the 1 rack (approx) spare ribs.
  3. Wash the meat with water and pat dry to remove excess moisture.
  4. Season the Spare Ribs well with salt to taste.

Step 2: Roast and Brown

  1. Place the seasoned Spare Ribs in a roasting pan.
  2. Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, changing the position of the ribs periodically during baking so they get evenly brown all over until golden brown and tender.
  3. Remove the lid during the final stages for further browning if needed.
  4. When making gravy from the drippings, remove excess fat and add water if needed.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Leftover spare ribs can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days.
