Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Cake Batter

  1. Mix 2 cups diced peeled apples with 1 cup sugar, let stand until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Add 1 egg and beat well.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients (1 cup sifted flour, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp baking soda) and add to the apple mixture.

Step 2: Baking
