Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, cream the 1 cup shortening and 1 cup sugar together with an electric mixer. Add the 2 eggs and mix well.
- In a separate medium bowl, sift together the 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
