Instructions

Step 1: Preparation and Mixing

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream the 1 cup (2 sticks) oleo and 1 cup sugar together with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the 4 eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. On low speed, gradually add the 1 cup + 1 Tbsp flour, mixing until it is just combined.
  5. Stir in the 1 cup Hershey chocolate syrup until the batter is smooth and uniform in color.

Step 2: Baking and Cooling

  1. Pour the batter into the greased pan.
  2. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist, fudgy crumbs; do not overbake.
  3. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting.
