Instructions

Step 1: Assembly

  1. Separate 2 cans (8 oz. each) Pillsbury Refrigerated Quick Crescent Dinner Rolls into 8 rectangles. Place rectangles of dough together on ungreased cookie sheet, overlapping edges slightly to form about a 15x13-inch rectangle. Press edges and perforations to seal.
  2. Combine 3/4 cup Kraft Red Plum Preserves, 1/4 cup raisins, 1/4 cup Grape-Nuts cereal, and 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel. Spread mixture in a 2-inch wide strip lengthwise down center of dough.

Step 2: Braid and Bake

  1. Make cuts 2 inches apart on each side of rectangle just to edge of filling. Fold opposite strips of dough at an angle half way across filling. Alternate from side to side and slant strips of dough downward as you pull to give a braided appearance. Fold last 2 strip ends under to seal.
  2. Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 3: Icing

  1. Combine 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar and 1 tablespoon milk. Drizzle icing over hot bread.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Best served warm shortly after baking and icing.
