Instructions

Step 1: Combine and Simmer

  1. In a large saucepan or stockpot, combine the 1 1/2 qts Apple Cider, 2 tbsp Sugar, 4 Cinnamon Sticks, and 10 whole Cloves.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly until the 2 tbsp Sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Once it reaches a gentle boil, reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for at least 30 minutes until fragrant and deeply spiced.

Step 2: Strain and Serve

  1. Carefully strain the Apple Cider through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the 4 Cinnamon Sticks and 10 whole Cloves.
  2. Ladle the hot, spiced Apple Cider into warm mugs and garnish with Lemon Slices, if desired.
