Ingredients

3 tbspFresh HerbsChopped, such as tarragon, parsley & chives (chives should dominate)
1 tbspWhite Wine Vinegar
2 tbspOlive Oil

1/4 tspFreshly Ground Pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tspSalt
1/4 cupHalf-and-HalfOptional

Instructions

Step 1: Mixing

  1. Turn the 1 cup fromage blanc into a small bowl.
  2. Add the 3 tbsp chopped fresh herbs, 1 tbsp white wine vinegar, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 clove garlic, 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper, and 1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt, and beat with a whisk untill well-blended and smooth.
  3. If a looser consistency is desired, stir in the optional 1/4 cup half-and-half.

Step 2: Chilling and Serving

  1. Cover and set aside or refrigerate for 1/2 to 1 hr until slightly chilled and flavors meld.
  2. Adjust seasoning as desired before serving.
