Instructions
Step 1: Combine and Blend
- In the bowl of a mixer, combine 8 oz softened cream cheese, 4 oz crumbled blue cheese, 5 oz tube processed cheddar or jalapeño cheese spread, ½ tbsp onion juice, 2 cloves minced garlic, and ½ tsp cayenne pepper.
- Blend on medium speed until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the mixture is completely smooth.
Step 2: Chill, Shape, and Coat
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the cheese mixture is firm enough to handle easily.
- Once chilled, divide the mixture as desired and form into one large ball or several smaller balls.
- If using optional coatings like chopped nuts, parsley, paprika, or extra cayenne pepper, spread them on a shallow plate and gently roll the cheese ball(s) until evenly coated across the surface.
- Wrap the finished cheese ball(s) tightly in wax paper or plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Store wrapped tightly in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. For the best texture, roll in crunchy coatings like nuts just before serving.
