Instructions

Slow Cooker Preparation

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the 6 cups cubed peeled potatoes, 5 cups water, 2 cups chopped onion, 1/2 cup chopped celery, 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots, 1/4 cup butter or margarine, 4 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules, 2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 7 hours or until vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk and 3 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, mix well.
  4. Cover and cook for 30-60 minutes longer until heated through.
  5. Garnish with snipped chives if desired before serving.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
