Instructions
- Boil the pork or beef in a covered pot with water.
- Simmer until tender, about 2 hours.
- Let the meat cool, then remove it from the broth. Shred or chop the meat.
- Take the reserved broth and add the chili powder and other spices.
- Add the shredded or chopped meat back to the spiced broth.
Note
For the Boiled Meat Chili, if the final mixture seems too thin, the card advises to just “keep cooking” and specifies “don’t add more flour.”
