Instructions

Step 1: Warm the Oil and Coat the Peanuts

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons peanut oil to a flat baking pan and place in the preheated oven for 5 minutes until hot.
  3. Carefully remove the pan from the oven, add 1 pound salted peanuts, and stir until fully coated with the hot oil.

Step 2: Roast and Season

  1. Return the pan to the oven for about 5 minutes until the peanuts are warmed through and fragrant.
  2. Remove from the oven and evenly sprinkle with 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese and 1 teaspoon garlic salt.
  3. Stir thoroughly until the cheese and salt mixture coats all the peanuts.
  4. Allow the peanuts to cool completely on the baking pan until crisp before serving.
