Instructions

Step 1: Preparation and BROWNING

  1. Brown the 1 lb ground beef in a skillet and season with 1 tsp salt and black pepper.

Step 2: Mixing and Baking

  1. Combine the browned beef with 1 can kidney beans, 1 can butter beans, 1 can pork and beans, 1/2 cup catsup, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup onion, 1 tsp dry mustard, and 2 tbsp vinegar.
  2. Transfer mixture to a casserole dish and bake at 350°F for 1 hr (or 300°F for 2 hours, or all day in a crock pot until bubbly and thick).
  3. Top with fried bacon slices before serving.
