Instructions

Prep Work

  1. Shred 6 cups red cabbage, ensuring you remove and discard the hard core.
  2. Cut 2 apples into thin slices.

Sauté and Simmer

  1. In a large skillet, sauté 3 Tbsp chopped onion in 1 Tbsp bacon dripping or butter until the onion is soft and translucent.
