Instructions
Step 1: Mixing and Baking
- Cream the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg together.
- Dissolve the 2 tbsp cornstarch in the 1/4 cup milk, then add to the sugar and egg mixture.
- Add the 1 (16 oz) crushed pineapple and mix well.
- Place the mixture into an 8x8 pan. Sprinkle with extra pineapple if desired and dot with butter.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until lightly browned. Do not cover. Watch for bubbles and a golden, lightly browned top.
