Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Spinach Base

  1. Cook the three packages frozen spinach according to package directions, then thoroughly drain in a colander.

Step 2: Mix the Creamy Filling

  1. In a mixing bowl, stir together the one small carton sour cream and one package Lipton onion soup mix until well combined.
  2. Stir the prepared sour cream mixture gently into the drained spinach until evenly incorporated.

Step 3: Assemble and Bake

  1. Transfer the spinach mixture into a greased casserole dish and spread it out evenly.
  2. Arrange the one small package frozen onion rings in a single layer on top of the spinach.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes until heated through and the onion rings are golden and crispy.
