Instructions

Step 1: Make the Cheese Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan, melt the 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat.

  3. Gradually whisk in the 1 cup milk. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and bubbles.

Step 2: Assemble the Casserole

  1. Gently arrange the drained 2 cans canned asparagus in a serving dish or casserole.
