Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Noodles
- Cook the 1 package Noodles according to package directions. When they are done, drain them in a colander but reserve some of the hot cooking water.
Step 2: Prepare the Basil Paste
- In a small bowl, take 3 heaping tablespoons Basil and add a small amount of the hot noodle water. Mash together until well combined to form a smooth paste.
Step 3: Make the Sauce and Toss
- In a saucepan, melt the 1/3 Margarine with 1 tablespoon Oil.
- Add the basil paste to the melted margarine and oil.
- Stir everything together, adding more hot noodle water as needed to reach your preferred sauce consistency.
- Toss the fragrant herb sauce with the cooked noodles until thoroughly coated and serve immediately while hot.
