Instructions

Simmering

  1. Combine the canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, gr. pepper, onion & garlic, beef, and bread cubes in a large pot.
  2. Stir in the 2 T parsley, 1 t oregano, 1/2 t basil, 1/4 t anise, 1/4 c parmesan, and 1 T Worcestershire (calculated per cup of sauce).
  3. Simmer gently for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until the sauce thickens and reaches a rich, aromatic doneness.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
