Instructions
Simmering
- Combine the canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, gr. pepper, onion & garlic, beef, and bread cubes in a large pot.
- Stir in the 2 T parsley, 1 t oregano, 1/2 t basil, 1/4 t anise, 1/4 c parmesan, and 1 T Worcestershire (calculated per cup of sauce).
- Simmer gently for 1 1/2 - 2 hours until the sauce thickens and reaches a rich, aromatic doneness.
