Instructions
Preparation and Cooking
- Place the 3 squares chocolate, 1/4 cup butter or margarine, 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, and 5/8 cup evaporated milk in the top of a double boiler.
- Cover and heat over boiling water, stirring the mixture together well as the chocolate melts.
- Cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
- Fill a pint container and store in the refrigerator, reheating as needed before serving.
