Instructions

Step 1: Simmering the Sauce

  1. In a saucepan, melt the 1/4 c. butter and 1/4 c. olive oil, then sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add the 1 lb ground beef and cook until browned completely.
  3. Stir in the 2 T. parsley, 2 - 8 oz tomato sauce, 2 - 6 oz tomato paste, and 2 T. W. sauce.
  4. Simmer and cool for 3 hrs until rich, thick, and deeply flavorful.

Step 2: Serving

  1. Boil the 1 lb long spaghetti in a large pot of salted water until tender and al dente.
  2. Serve the rich meat sauce over the hot spaghetti and top with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
