Instructions

Step 1: Simmer the Base

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the 3/4 cup whipping cream, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/4 cup unsalted butter over medium heat until the sugar dissolves.

Step 2: Thicken and Infuse

  1. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook until it has slightly thickened, about 4 minutes.
  2. Add the 3 tablespoons Irish whiskey and simmer for 4 more minutes until well integrated.

Step 3: Melt and Smooth
