Instructions

Step 1: Making the Dressing and Salad

  1. Mix 1/2 c vinegar, 1/4 c molasses, 1/4 c olive oil, 1 T Dijon, and 1/4 t pepper together in a small bowl.
  2. Combine the 15 oz. each navy, red & black beans, 1 c celery, and 1/2 c green onion in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Pour the dressing over the bean mixture and toss well to coat.

Step 2: Chilling and Serving

  1. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for 4 to 24 hours, stirring occasionally until the flavors are fully blended and the beans have absorbed the dressing.
  2. Serve chilled over crisp lettuce.
