Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Stuffing

  1. Slit a pocket lengthwise in the side of each 4 Loin Pork Chops.
  2. Prepare stuffing by browning 1 tbsp chopped onion and 1/4 c diced celery in 2 tbsp fat.
  3. Dissolve 1 beef bouillon cube in 1/2 c hot water, then add rest of ingredients except breadcrumbs and stir to combine.
  4. Add 2 c soft bread crumbs to the mixture and stir well.

Step 2: Baking

  1. Stuff each chop with 1/4 of this mixture, then season the outside of the chops with salt & pepper.
  2. Place in a baking dish, cover, and bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
  3. Uncover and continue baking for 30 minutes until golden brown and tender.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Chops can be stuffed a few hours ahead and kept covered in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
