Instructions
Step 1: Preparation and Baking
- Thaw 2 lbs halibut steak, remove skin and bones, and cut into 6 portions.
- Place fish in a greased 12x8 inch baking dish.
- Combine 1 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup sliced green onion, 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp basil, and 1/4 tsp pepper together in a bowl.
- Pour sauce over 2 lbs halibut, then sprinkle with 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- To brown the top, place under the broiler for 4 to 5 minutes until golden.
