Instructions

Preparation and Baking

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the 4 oz. grated cheddar, 7 oz. can water packed tuna, 1/4 cup minced green pepper, 1 tsp. dried onion, 3 diced hard cooked eggs, 3 tbsp. dill pickle relish, and 4 tbsp. low-fat salad dressing until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Fill each of the 10 hamburger buns evenly with the tuna mixture.
  4. Wrap each filled bun individually in aluminum foil to seal in the moisture.
  5. Place the wrapped buns on a baking sheet and heat in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and the buns are hot and soft.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Buns can be assembled and wrapped in foil ahead of time, then refrigerated. Increase baking time by 5 to 10 minutes if baking directly from the refrigerator.
