Instructions

Step 1: Initial Bake

  1. Place 4 lbs spare-ribs in a baking dish and bake in the oven for 45 minutes without a lid.

Step 2: Sauce and Simmer

  1. Grind the 1 green pepper and 1 onion together.
  2. Combine the ground vegetables with 1 bottle ketchup, 1/2 bottle water, and 2 level tsp chili powder.
  3. Pour the sauce over the ribs, cover with a lid, and simmer at 350°F for 45 minutes or longer until the meat is tender and pulls away from the bone.
