Instructions

Step 1: Pressure Cooking

  1. Place the 1 beef tongue and 1 small onion in a pressure cooker with water according to the manufacturer’s directions.
  2. Cook at 15 lbs. of pressure for 1 hour until tender.

Step 2: Peeling and Slicing

  1. After cooking, cool the tongue enough to handle so the thick outer skin can be easily peeled off and discarded before slicing the meat.
