Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Rice Bed
- Cook the amount as needed rice until done.
- Place the cooked rice in the bottom of a shallow baking pan.
- Mix in the 1 can/jar drained sliced peaches, to taste salt, to taste pepper, and other desired seasonings with the rice.
- Add a little peach syrup to the rice mixture, being careful not to add too much so the rice does not become overly sweet.
Step 2: Assemble and Bake
- Place the 1/2 or pieces chicken on top of the rice mixture.
- Season the chicken with to taste salt, to taste pepper, amount as needed butter, and any other desired seasonings.
- Bake at 350°F until the chicken is cooked through, golden brown, and the juices run clear.
💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Assemble the baking dish ahead of time, cover tightly, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking at 350°F until cooked through.
