Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Rice Bed

  1. Cook the amount as needed rice until done.
  2. Place the cooked rice in the bottom of a shallow baking pan.
  3. Mix in the 1 can/jar drained sliced peaches, to taste salt, to taste pepper, and other desired seasonings with the rice.
  4. Add a little peach syrup to the rice mixture, being careful not to add too much so the rice does not become overly sweet.

Step 2: Assemble and Bake

  1. Place the 1/2 or pieces chicken on top of the rice mixture.
  2. Season the chicken with to taste salt, to taste pepper, amount as needed butter, and any other desired seasonings.
  3. Bake at 350°F until the chicken is cooked through, golden brown, and the juices run clear.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: Assemble the baking dish ahead of time, cover tightly, and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before baking at 350°F until cooked through.
