Instructions
1. Preheat oven to approximately 450°F. 2. Trim all the fat off the short ribs. 3. Wash the ribs, then season them with salt and other seasonings of your choice. 4. Place the ribs in a lidded Pyrex dish and put it in the oven. 5. When the meat is nice and brown, add the potatoes and onions to the dish. 6. Bake for a total of about 2 to 3 hours, or until the meat and vegetables are tender.
Note
The author wrote a side note: “I did brown later so they wasn’t brown!” This suggests you may get better results by searing the ribs in a pan on the stovetop for browning before placing them in the oven to bake.
