Instructions

Step 1: Simmer the Beans

  1. Open the 3 cans beans and place them in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup water, salt to taste, and bacon drippings to taste.
  3. Mix well and continue heating for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until bubbling gently.

Step 2: Combine and Finish

  1. While the beans are heating, dice the 1 can spam.
  2. After ten minutes, add the diced 1 can spam, chopped 1 small onion, and the 1 1/2 to 2 cans chili to the beans.
  3. Mix thoroughly and heat for 5 more minutes until piping hot throughout.
