Instructions
Step 1: Prep and Mix
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the 1 envelope Lipton mushroom mix, 1 pound ground beef, 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup water, and 1 egg. Mix thoroughly until well incorporated.
Step 2: Bake the Base
- Press the meat mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form a savory crust.
