Instructions
Step 1: Preparation and Cooking
- Soak the 1 box gelatin.
- Add 2/3 cup water to 1 lb gran. sugar and bring to a boil; when boiling, add the soaked 1 box gelatin.
- Boil slowly for 20 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Add the grated rind and juice of 1 orange and 1 lemon to the mixture.
Step 2: Setting and Cutting
- Wet a tin with cold water and pour in the mixture about 1 inch deep.
- Let set until firm, then cut into squares and roll thoroughly in powdered sugar.
