Instructions

Step 1: Preparation and Cooking

  1. Soak the 1 box gelatin.
  2. Add 2/3 cup water to 1 lb gran. sugar and bring to a boil; when boiling, add the soaked 1 box gelatin.
  3. Boil slowly for 20 minutes, stirring constantly until thickened.
  4. Add the grated rind and juice of 1 orange and 1 lemon to the mixture.

Step 2: Setting and Cutting

  1. Wet a tin with cold water and pour in the mixture about 1 inch deep.
  2. Let set until firm, then cut into squares and roll thoroughly in powdered sugar.
