Instructions

Step 1: Jello Base

  1. Dissolve 2 pkg lime jello, 4 tbsp sugar (portion of total), and 1 pinch salt in 2 cups boiling water.
  2. Add 1 cup cold water, 1 tsp mint extract, 1 tsp vanilla, and 1 tsp brandy. Chill until slightly thickened.

Step 2: Whipping and Assembly

  1. Beat 1 egg white, add 2 tbsp sugar, and beat to peaks.
  2. Prepare 1 cup whipped cream or dream whip.
  3. Measure out a little of the thickened jello and set aside.
  4. Blend the egg white and whipped cream into the remaining jello and chill until thick.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the 1 pie crust.
  6. Pour reserved jello over the pie and marbalize with a knife.
