Instructions

Step 1: Gelatin Base

  1. Dissolve 1 pkg Lemon Jello and 1 cup sugar in 1 cup boiling water.
  2. Stir in the juice of 2 lemons.
  3. Let the mixture sit until it reaches a jelly-like consistency.

Step 2: Whipping

  1. Whip the 1 can chilled evaporated milk until stiff peaks form.
  2. Fold the whipped milk into the congealed lemon jello mixture until fully combined.

Step 3: Assembly

  1. Pour the mixture over a base of crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers and chill until set.
