Instructions

Step 1: Base Preparation

  1. Dissolve 1 pkg. cherry jello in 1 cup boiling water.
  2. Add 5 ice cubes and stir until completely melted.

Step 2: Mixing Fruits and Rice

  1. Stir in 1/4 c. sugar, small can crushed pineapple, and 1/4 c. cooked rice.
  2. Cut up 20 maraschino cherries and add them to the mixture.

Step 3: Setting and Finishing

  1. Let the jello set up until firm and chilled.
  2. Gently blend in 1 pint Kool Whip and 1/2 c. chopped nuts until smooth and fully incorporated.
