Instructions
Step 1: Preparing the Fruit Mixture
- Combine 1 1/2 cups dates, 1 can (8 3/4 oz) crushed pineapple, 1 tbsp sugar, and 1 dash salt in a saucepan.
- Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
Step 2: Adding Gelatin and Cooling
- Soften 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water.
- Add the softened gelatin to the hot date mixture and stir until completely dissolved.
