Instructions

Step 1: Preparation and Cooking

  1. Mix together 1 egg yolk, 1/2 C. sugar, and 1 rounding tbsp flour.
  2. Heat 2/3 C. milk and add slowly to the above mixture.
  3. Cook like a white sauce until thickened, stirring constantly.
  4. Add 1 cake melted sweet chocolate and stir until smooth.

Step 2: Chilling and Shaping

  1. Set the mixture away until the next day to firm up completely.
  2. Shape the chilled mixture into balls.
  3. Roll each ball in ground cocoa until fully coated.

💡 Make-Ahead & Storage: The chocolate mixture must be refrigerated overnight before shaping into balls.
