Instructions

Step 1: Making the Crust and Prep

  2. Boil, peel, and slice the apples.

Step 2: Syrup and Baking

  1. Boil together 1 1/2 cups sugar, 3 t. butter, and 2 cups water to create a syrup, then pour over the dumplings.
  2. Bake for 30 min. until golden brown and bubbly.
