Instructions

Step 1: Mixing the Dough

  1. Cream together the 1 C sugar and 1/2 C shortening in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Beat in the 1 egg until fully incorporated.
  3. Stir in the 2 C chopped apples, 1 C raisins, and 1 C chopped nuts.

Step 2: Adding Dry Ingredients and Baking
