Instructions
Step 1: Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Step 2: Mixing Batter
- In a large bowl, sift or whisk together the dry ingredients: 3 cups flour, 10 Tbsp cocoa, 2 cups sugar, 2 tsp salt, and 2 tsp baking soda.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the 2 eggs, 1 cup Wesson oil, 3 cups buttermilk, and 4 tsp vanilla.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula or whisk until just combined.
Step 3: Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
