Instructions

Step 1: Prep and Assembly

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the bottom 9-inch pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Arrange the 1 lb Granny Smith apples (peeled & sliced) in the bottom crust and sprinkle the 1/4 cup raisins evenly over the top.
  3. In a separate medium bowl, mix together the thawed 1 small can frozen concentrated apple juice, 4 oz heavy cream, 2 Tbsp cornstarch, and 2 Tbsp cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour this mixture evenly over the apples and raisins.
  5. Place the top pie crust over the filling, seal and crimp the edges to secure, and cut a few slits in the top crust for steam to escape.

Step 2: Bake

  1. Bake the pie at 450°F for 10 minutes.
  2. Reduce the heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
