Instructions
Step 1: Prep and Assembly
- Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the bottom 9-inch pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan.
- Arrange the 1 lb Granny Smith apples (peeled & sliced) in the bottom crust and sprinkle the 1/4 cup raisins evenly over the top.
- In a separate medium bowl, mix together the thawed 1 small can frozen concentrated apple juice, 4 oz heavy cream, 2 Tbsp cornstarch, and 2 Tbsp cinnamon until smooth.
- Pour this mixture evenly over the apples and raisins.
- Place the top pie crust over the filling, seal and crimp the edges to secure, and cut a few slits in the top crust for steam to escape.
Step 2: Bake
- Bake the pie at 450°F for 10 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to 350°F and bake for an additional 30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
