Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Crust

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Place the 1/2 cup butter or margarine in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan and place in the oven until melted.
  3. Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs evenly over the butter, pressing down firmly to form a crust.

Step 2: Layer and Bake

  1. Layer the 1 can coconut flakes, 1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1 cup chopped nuts evenly over the crust.
  2. Pour the 1 can sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top of the layers.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are lightly browned and the center is set.
  4. Let the pan cool completely on a wire rack until firm before cutting into bars.
