Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
- Crush the 1 package Oreo cookies in a food processor or by hand until they resemble fine crumbs.
Step 2: Cream the Filling
- In a large bowl, cream together the 1 stick butter, 8 ounces cream cheese, and 1 cup powdered sugar until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
Step 3: Prepare the Pudding
- In a separate bowl, whisk the 3 1/2 cups milk and 2 small packages vanilla pudding mix for 2 minutes; let stand for 5 minutes until set.
Step 4: Combine and Assemble
- Fold the 12 ounces Cool Whip into the set pudding, then combine with the cream cheese mixture until uniform.
- In an 8-inch plastic flower pot, alternate layers of crushed Oreo cookies and the cream mixture, ending with a final layer of cookies on top to resemble dirt.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until firm and set.
- Garnish with silk flowers and gummy worms just before serving.
